264 // What a Weekend

Today I am grateful for:

  1. The ritual and movement from bed to couch and back. Some Sundays are for preparing for the week ahead, and some are for sleeping off the week before. This Sunday was one of the latter and I’m grateful for the luxury.
  2. Sweet tea. I’ve been struggling stave off dehydration lately which means sticking strictly to water and Gatorade. Today was the first day in weeks I’ve stocked the fridge with anything besides.
  3. The end of the weekend. New beginnings, whether by the day or week, are sometimes a relief. This weekend was a good one but it was overwhelming and I’m ready to focus on something else for a while.
