311 // Quarantine: Part Deux

Today I am grateful for:

  1. Early days home from work. I really wasn’t feeling well at all, still, and I needed to get home quickly to take care of myself and to sleep. I’ve had some rest and I expect to have a much better evening than I did an afternoon.
  2. Marcus Aurelius. I’ve been reading his Meditations for some days now and I have found so much in his words that resonates with my own views and much to think disagree with too, which is just as enlightening.
  3. All those across the country, but especially in the states of Nevada, Georgia, and Pennsylvania, who are working around the clock to count ballots. I’m thankful too to the local officials for their transparency and dedication to preserving the integrity of our election.
