Today I am grateful for:
- Adulting, which is getting easier and easier to do. My wife and I went through our separate benefits offering from each of our jobs and it seems getting married is finally starting to benefit our finances!
- My coworkers, all of who also received a promotion and a raise larger than expected, who were as elated as me, and who celebrated with me the best we could through text message. I’m a little more excited to head back to work in a few weeks.
- Gin and tonic. The weather has been so summer-like that my cocktail tastes have turned from the sweet and soothing toward the light and refreshing. Sadly, my liquor stores are low, but I had gin, and tonic water, and limes and it was just what I needed.
