Today I am grateful for:

  1. A good daily walk. It’s nice to sweat sometimes and to know your body got what it needed for the day. I can’t wait to do more, both in length and difficulty. Pretty soon I’ll be back in good enough shape to hike again.
  2. My neighbors. They’re all older than me and my wife but they’re all really nice. Some of the only human interaction I have now is waving to them while we walk.our dogs and check our mail. It means a lot.
  3. The relief of a cool and cloudy day. The heat has been building over these past few weeks and we were really starting to get irritable and uncomfortable. It’s too early in the year for this kind of weather. I’d like a little more spring before summer, you know?
