356 // Holiday Chaos

Good things:

  1. Got through my second iron infusion today. I was back to my usual infusion center with a nurse who took good care of me, including warm pillows and blankets, apple juice, and a much more comfortable IV placement. Just one more to go!
  2. Everything in fact did go smoothly, and it looks like all my Christmas gifting tasks and chores are finally complete, including sorting, wrapping, and tagging too. I’m already feeling lighter and many times more cheerful.
  3. I just want to take a moment to pat myself on the back for avoiding all alcohol though the holiday season, so far. For health reasons I’ve been advised to abstain, and it hasn’t been nearly as hard as I expected, but that doesn’t mean it’s been easy. I still have New Year’s to go, but I’m hopeful.
