Today I am grateful for:
- HBO. I know I shouldn’t be binge-watching mindless TV but there are definitely shows worth watching and many of them are on HBO like Westworld, Insecure, and Atlanta’s Missing and Murdered all of which got me through the day.
- Cold-brewed coffee, oh, how I’ve missed you! I finally got a chance to use the new cold-brew coffee carafe my wife got me for my birthday. I’ve still got to tweak the water to grounds ration, but it was still good.
- My cat and her bad attitude. We’re trying to switch her to wet food and she is being an absolute asshole about it. She’s old though, so it’s endearing. We’ve had her for 16 years or so and I keep thinking that very soon I will have to learn how to live with the heartbreak of losing her.
