Today I am grateful for:

  1. My wife’s take on classic campfire hobo chicken made in a ditch oven a cooked in the oven for over an hour. A summer meal I didn’t k ow i.missed so much.
  2. The pounds I could have gained during quarantine and didn’t. I made some poor eating andhand exercise habits but it could have been worse. A modicum of will power is better than none.
  3. These morning walks with my wife. I’m going to miss them. We’ve agreed to try evening walks going forward but I know they won’t be the same. Still, better than nothing. Better than the way things used to be.
