254 // Dividing and Balancing

Today I am grateful for:

  1. Soylent brand meal replacement drinks. I’ve been struggling to find foods that are both nutritious and don’t cause me pain anymore. I tried something new this week and bought a few bottles and flavors of Soylent and I’m feeling a lot better already.
  2. Early afternoons. One of my favorite parts of my new position is not having to work split shifts every day and getting to head home early on the days I need to. It’s nice to have a little more daylight to claim as my own and enjoy while I still have the energy.
  3. My siblings. My family has been going through a lot lately and I have been bearing the burdens and responsibilities out of habit. It’s hard to imagine a life where the world isn’t on my shoulders alone and to hope is terrifying, but I’m reaching out and the ones who I’d have carry the load with me are reaching back.
