270 // Purge, Develop, Expand, Evolve

Today I am grateful for:

1. The time, space, and silence to take spend recreating this place. Sometimes, no matter how much we love the people we love and long for ever more minutes with them, sometimes, there are things we can only do when we are alone.
2. Romeo + Juliet. I rarely rewatch old movies. There are so few movies that will move me again and again I could probably count them all on one hand. This movie is one of them. Pure art and perfection.
3. My dog and cat. I’ve needed them more than usual this weekend and I think they know it. It feels good to see them put aside their differences and grievances to comfort and soothe me through this loneliness.
