Today I am grateful for:
- Love. There is so much of it surrounding me, so much in me, so much being given to me that no matter how cruel or terrifying the world becomes, I still have hope that happiness and safety can be found again, one day…some day.
- A day of rest. I have a big week ahead and having a day to stay in and away from all the problems around me helped. I couldn’t keep the storms at bay all day, but there was sun and blue sky too.
- The coming week. I’d long requested the time off for good reasons, but now I am grateful to have it off for the bad ones too. They say time heals all and if a day can do this much; I have high hopes for what the next seven can do.
