Today I am grateful for:
- My corner of the couch. Here I’ve got my books, my snacks, my blankets, my laptop, and all the shows I love to binge watch. My wife is just opposite me and even the cat and the dog have their spaces too. All my favorite things are within reach, and there is no need at all to be anywhere else.
- Loved ones who take the pandemic seriously. So far both my and my wife’s family have been good about washing their hands, wearing masks, and staying in. I’m glad they are doing the right thing, keeping themselves safe, and in turn, keeping me safe too.
- This day. I’ve been practicing taking life one day at a time, and it’s helped my anxiety and my motivation so much. What can I do today? That all I need to focus on or worry about. That’s all I need to strive for and all I can in good faith expect from myself.
