Today I am grateful for:

  1. My snakes, Ava and Delilah. I moved their enclosures around today and it’ll be a lot less stress on all three of us when it come time to handle them, clean up after them, or handle them.
  2. Some time alone in the house. I’m grateful because I finally got it but it turns out it was the opposite of what I needed. I’m already feeling so alone. Without my wife here, it’s a lot worse.
  3. The ritual of watering the house plants. These past few months I’ve tried to be more mindful and do a lot more noticing and it’s amazing how much plants move and change in the course of a week, hell, even over one night! And they certainly have personality.
