237 // A Strange Disconnect

Today I am grateful for:

  1. My to-do list. Without my lists to cling to, I have no doubt that my emotions would have weighed me down and kept me from accomplishing anything today. When the darkness descends, it helps to have a light and compass to keep you moving forward toward the light.
  2. “Working” from home with my wife. Well, she works anyway, but it gives me the motivation I need to sit at my desk beside her and type my little words away here. I love our free nights together too, but this helps keep me off the couch and away from the TV a few more nights a week.
  3. The end of Monday. Some days are for savoring, and some days are for getting through. I’m grateful I got through this one and grateful to begin another one right after.
