Today I am grateful for:

1. Adulting, which is getting easier and easier to do. My wife and I went through our separate benefits offering from each of our jobs and it seems getting married is finally starting to benefit our finances!
2. My coworkers, all of who also received a promotion and a raise larger than expected, who were as elated as me, and who celebrated with me the best we could through text message. I’m a little more excited to head back to work in a few weeks.
3. Gin and tonic. The weather has been so summer-like that my cocktail tastes have turned from the sweet and soothing toward the light and refreshing. Sadly, my liquor stores are low, but I had gin, and tonic water, and limes and it was just what I needed.
