314 // From the Warmth and Comfort of My Couch

Today I am grateful for:

  1. Working from home. When you have a chronic illness, especially a chronic illness like mine, being able to work in comfort and close you all the things you need not only means you can take better care of yourself and do better work, it also means you have less to stress about, less to feel guilty for.
  2. My team. Today’s conference was really informative, but there is no way I would have been able to stay engaged if it weren’t for my team and our supportive and often hilarious group chats.
  3. My wife. This year has been hard on us in more ways than I can express here, but through it all we have managed to stay close, to stay in love, and stay together. There is more stress to come, I’m sure, but there is so much more good on the way too. I just know it!
